Dusk

The day goes by

Then it is gone

And so the dusk begins

And as I am alone with You

Your word begins

To settle in

Deep into my Spirit

My Joy is full

Sweet Mercy

Washes over my soul

Calm and quiet

Ready to hear

Your voice

In my Spirit’s ear.

Oh Lord! No fear!

Keep this place

Hold me here.

You are more than

Enough

And I am Yours, Oh Lord,

Hold me here. Amen.
