Oh, Lord!…

Oh, Lord! The darkness like a fog

slowly slips into the

consciousness of our culture

and overwhelms the silly ones

and makes the wise breathless.

To watch it, as in a daze

and yet before our gaze

it swallows light

like a blanket of forgetfulness.

Come! Holy Spirit of Truth

dispel the lies.
