Just Swaying

Mighty ships sway

On the ocean,

Each day, each wave

Moves men forward.

Men and women who,

On life’s journey,

Must give way

To wind and the waves.

Mighty people with plans

And gold to see them through

But, Oh, My Lord,

Did they look to You?

Some plans are bold,

And truth be told,

Some are not so great

But those whose trust

Is in the Lord,

Will not have to wait

The blessing is in the trusting

The trusting is the treasure

And our Reward is You, Oh, Lord,

Whose Love is without measure!
